Burger Express has been a staple of the Carteret community since 1978 with its original location first opening its doors near the old exit 12, New Jersey Turnpike entrance. Looking to modernize and promote a more inviting restaurant, Burger Express built a new establishment closer to the waterfront and business district in 2008.
The premise of Burger Express’s food is fresh, fast, food made daily. The menu consists of breakfast sandwiches, burgers, fried chicken, fun side orders and customer favorites like the chicken sandwiches and cheese fries. Additionally, the menu has wraps, salads and veggie alternatives for those looking to eat on the lighter side.
We offer halal menu options such as our beef burgers, chicken, and sweet pie desserts!
All of our halal items are prepared on a dedicated cooking station, grill and fryers to prevent cross-contact with non-halal products.
